Cneiffinpolku 6 – The Blue House and Sailors’ Stories

The blue house, over 100 years old, once partly served as a sailors’ reading room – a place where news from around the world was read and stories from distant harbours were shared. The family bought the house 30 years ago and has lovingly cared for it ever since. The house breathes its history and maritime past, making it a unique part of Kaskinen’s old townscape.

Open on Saturday, August 16, 2025.


Special program: The owners, Sören and Hanna, will be present to share the history and renovation of the house.
