Overview of the 2025 Event

The Timber House and Renovation Construction Fair was held in Kaskinen for the first time in 2025. The event brought together 16 timber house and garden sites, inviting visitors directly into real homes and yards—at the heart of renovation construction, tradition, and sustainable solutions.

The fair days did not go entirely as planned: strong storm winds forced the cancellation of Saturday’s program. On Sunday, however, the sites were open to the public without exhibitors present. Despite this—or perhaps because of it—around 600 visitors toured the sites, discussed the renovation of old timber houses, and demonstrated that interest in timber houses and renovation construction remains strong.

In 2026, we will build on this experience to create an even stronger event. We are seeking exhibitors who wish to engage with the public in an authentic environment and as part of a living city. In Kaskinen, the fair is not just an event, but a meeting place for those who value expertise, community, and sustainable construction.
