Prinssi Erikinkatu 14 – Historic House and Garden

Built around 1890 by Anton and Josefiina Winter, this beautiful wooden house radiates history and the charm of old Kaskinen. The façade was renovated around 2012, and the current owners moved in during spring 2023. The ground floor received a surface renovation, but most of the work has focused on transforming the courtyard.

Prinssi Erikinkatu 14 is a late-19th-century home whose surroundings have undergone a remarkable transformation: the Kässäkolo handicraft shop, a woodworking workshop, a greenhouse, spacious terraces, and a new fence create an inspiring and functional whole. The yard has been levelled with over 200 cubic metres of soil, significantly changing its appearance.

Programme during the fair

Shell painting for children will be organised in the greenhouse. Kässäkolo will be open during the fair, selling coffee, juice, mineral water and baked goods.
